| Review (by Malcolm Storey) | Study confirms there is not a close species specific association between Epichloë spp and Botanophila spp. They also found three different egg morphologies, but were unable to conclusively link them to species, but suggest: “grey” = B. laterella, “white” = B. phrenione and B. dissecta and “cream” = B.lobata, but this wasn’t confirmed by either sequencing or rearing males. |
